I recently stayed at La Tigra Rainforest Lodge for a week-long getaway. The forest setting and rustic ambiance truly made me feel immersed in nature. The staff went above and beyond to assist with anything I needed, and the abundance of wildlife, especially the charming frogs, added to the enchanting experience. The food at the lodge was outstanding, and considering the remote location, it offered great value for money. The rooms were lovely, with a unique atmosphere, and the breathtaking view was exactly as advertised. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a truly memorable stay.

This Easter, I had the most incredible back-to-nature escape! The best part was staying in my own little lodge in the middle of the rainforest. Not only did I have a balcony where I could spot a variety of birds, but I also had the opportunity to participate in nightly activities. One night, I went on a thrilling night walk to see all kinds of fascinating frogs. Another day, I was able to plant a tree on the property, which was such a rewarding experience. The lodge also had trails where I could explore the forest on foot, which was a unique and amazing way to connect with nature. the food at the lodge was top-notch, with every meal being absolutely delicious. It was the perfect place for nature enthusiasts like myself.
There were a couple of minor drawbacks during my stay. the room could get a bit humid at times since it was open and surrounded by the rainforest.

We especially enjoyed the flavorful dishes made with fresh vegetables from their own garden.
We experienced some issues during our stay. the road leading up to the lodge was difficult to navigate, and we were not prepared for the challenging drive.

The treehouse was a unique experience, with a clean and well-equipped space that kept unwanted critters out. the secluded location in the woods provided a peaceful atmosphere, with the sound of nature all around. the view from the common space was beautiful, and the lights added a cute touch. the restaurant served amazing food at reasonable prices, with plenty of options to choose from. the staff were kind and helpful, providing information about activities in the area. the sustainable features, such as solar panels for hot water and the use of flashlights, were commendable.
The road to get to the hotel was treacherous, with steep and rocky terrain. It was necessary to have a 4x4 vehicle to navigate the bumpy path.

We even had the opportunity to go on a night tour, take a cooking class, and plant trees. It's not a luxury resort, but the eco-lodge concept was refreshing and we felt good about supporting their efforts to rebuild the rainforest. Highly recommend this unique and special experience.
